At today’s Starz portion of the TCA Winter Press Tour, CEO Chris Albrecht said that the cable channel is considering a sequel to The White Queen — The White Princess.
According to Deadline, he said, “We’re working with [The White Queen screenwriter] Emma Frost on the stories… We will not have BBC as part of it. We are interested, if the stars align, in a sequel to The White Queen.”
The limited series apparently performed well for Starz but was less successful for the BBC which co-produced. The latter has decided not to continue with the property.
Like the original series, The White Princess would be based on the book by historical novelist Philippa Gregory.

I kept trying to find Season 2, can’t believe you would not continue this program great story , need more please.
I most definitely want a season two! I was spellbound to my TV for the entire season one. I also got family and friends addicted to it. The show must go on, there must be more!
i would love to see more of the white queen.
I’m so disputed to gear there won’t be a new season. I enjoyed season one greatly. I have been waiting and anticipating the season two looking for it no wonder I can’t find it. How disappointing.
Season 2
Head and shoulders above most of this type, thoroughly compelling and outstanding job of character development and dynamic story line. Wow. I was completely glued to it and like others was looking forward to the sequel; I’ve read all the books. I do hope Starz can manage it.

I have very much enjoyed the first 5 shows n I am starting to watch my 6th after I write this comment … I an quiet disappointed that this will not be continuing to a 2nd season etc … I’m not very sure I would of even started watching this if I had known this prior to watching? I am not much of a television person n truly enjoy great writers, actors n actresses like in this mini series … Plz reconsider the continuance of some kind based on these actors n actresses … I really have enjoyed this show… Read more »
Yes. The White Queen was a very good series. I really want to watch season 2. It would be a shame not to continue the series.
Me and my family loved The White Queen as it achieved in depth character development and you felt more directly connected with the individuals and events of the time. The show placed you in the setting and helped you to more clearly see the plite of a Queen, and the constant issues facing the monarchy both abroad and at home. It would be truly enjoyable to see another associated Series like The White Princess.
