At today’s Starz portion of the TCA Winter Press Tour, CEO Chris Albrecht said that the cable channel is considering a sequel to The White Queen — The White Princess.
According to Deadline, he said, “We’re working with [The White Queen screenwriter] Emma Frost on the stories… We will not have BBC as part of it. We are interested, if the stars align, in a sequel to The White Queen.”
The limited series apparently performed well for Starz but was less successful for the BBC which co-produced. The latter has decided not to continue with the property.
Like the original series, The White Princess would be based on the book by historical novelist Philippa Gregory.

@Tamara that is exactly what I did too!! As I was approaching the final episode I was comforting myself with the thought that there would be a season 2 out there but to my great disappointment there was not:'(((( There has to be another season!! and after that another season!! Keep them coming!

Pleeeeeeeeease continue the series, “The White Queen”. It was one of our favorites and unbelievable, given the successes of so many great period pieces, to not continue! Make a good choice Starz and make it happen!

I’ve read all of the books and loved them. I only got Starz recently and watched all ten episodes in a day, and have watched the first five episodes a second time. Hate to think that this show as been cancelled.
I absolutely loved The White Queen… I am so upset it wasn’t continued. The Tudors, Henry VIII.. all fascinating subjects for TV.
I stumbled across this show by accident last night while searching for another series. After watching the 1st episode I found myself TOTALLY hooked to the television. I ended up staying up WAY PAST my bedtime but it was well worth it.
This is an awesome show and cast. PLEASE bring a season 2.

I found The White Queen on Netflix or Amazon Prime and watched the whole series in a matter of days. I am sooooooo disappointed to find there is not a season 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.
