At today’s Starz portion of the TCA Winter Press Tour, CEO Chris Albrecht said that the cable channel is considering a sequel to The White Queen — The White Princess.
According to Deadline, he said, “We’re working with [The White Queen screenwriter] Emma Frost on the stories… We will not have BBC as part of it. We are interested, if the stars align, in a sequel to The White Queen.”
The limited series apparently performed well for Starz but was less successful for the BBC which co-produced. The latter has decided not to continue with the property.
Like the original series, The White Princess would be based on the book by historical novelist Philippa Gregory.

I’d love a season 2…I would always watch an episode between sleep and work…I want to see more there is so much more that can be told and shown
i love this show. It is not like all the other shows out there. I get so bored with all the killing shows out there. That is nice to have something different. I love the rain and the Turder it was about Henry the 8th. I like shows that are more about history, but in a real drama. I like things that I have not lived through.
Absolutely please go on with a sequel! I love the show and would be so thrilled if yall do it! The show is so captivating and keeps wanting more as the viewer!

Beautiful and suspenseful series. Just got Starz again. Looking forward to continuation. Would watch The Red Queen et al. if done as well a first season.
