At today’s Starz portion of the TCA Winter Press Tour, CEO Chris Albrecht said that the cable channel is considering a sequel to The White Queen — The White Princess.
According to Deadline, he said, “We’re working with [The White Queen screenwriter] Emma Frost on the stories… We will not have BBC as part of it. We are interested, if the stars align, in a sequel to The White Queen.”
The limited series apparently performed well for Starz but was less successful for the BBC which co-produced. The latter has decided not to continue with the property.
Like the original series, The White Princess would be based on the book by historical novelist Philippa Gregory.

I would definitely love to see more seasons of the “THE WHITE QUEEN”. It rivals HBO “GAME OF THRONES” and History’s “VIKINGS.” Please bring it back!
I hope that a sequel will be forthcoming. This series has been favorite. I’ve read all of the books by Gregory and I loved all of them. I think that the television series is as good or even better than the books.
I am so disappointed when I read there may be no Season 2. I so enjoy these types of movies, hate some of the garage they have on current tv. I Love Pride and Prejudice, Queen Elizabeth Downton Abbey….and now The White Queen….Please Please continue with Season 2.

Please bring more seasons to The White Queen!! I loved this series! I bought the dvd, was looking online to see when next season came out and it said no second season. I am crushed. It is as good as The Tudors. Please bring more!! It didn’t win academy awards for nothing!

OH NO! how can they even think about cancelling this series. I loved the Tudors, and the White Queen is even better, this series is the only reason I have the Starz Channel, although I was just told, my favorite series of books ” Outlander ” by Diane Gabledon has been put into a series and will be airing this summer.
PLEASE, PLEASE don’t cancel The White Queen
