At today’s Starz portion of the TCA Winter Press Tour, CEO Chris Albrecht said that the cable channel is considering a sequel to The White Queen — The White Princess.
According to Deadline, he said, “We’re working with [The White Queen screenwriter] Emma Frost on the stories… We will not have BBC as part of it. We are interested, if the stars align, in a sequel to The White Queen.”
The limited series apparently performed well for Starz but was less successful for the BBC which co-produced. The latter has decided not to continue with the property.
Like the original series, The White Princess would be based on the book by historical novelist Philippa Gregory.

I absolutely loved the 1st’season, I really want 2 see the 2nd.I want 2 see princess Elizabeth married 2 Henry Tudor & what happens 2 what happens 2 England.I am very much in love with this show. 🙂

This was a great series with great actors! Just when you find something new that you like to watch and it gets cancelled. What’s up with that? Please bring it back or do a sequel.

Yes I would most definitely love to see more of the white queen. I so enjoyed watching the first season and would truly live to see the second season and more to come. I really like this show very much.

I feel you must continue; how can you not? The White Queen is a five-star series! Brilliant acting, costumes and sets; the characters are well defined. I can never get enough of the history and intrigue surrounding the fight for the crown. Please continue the series…Do It For Me!!!
