It looks like Top Gear might be putting the break on for the holidays. Digital Spy reports there may not be a Christmas special for the BBC America series this year.
Earlier, we reported the car show was renewed for season 24 but with Matt LeBlanc as the host. Season 23 host Chris Evans is leaving the show.
With all these changes, it seems the BBC America isn’t planning on a Top Gear Christmas special. When asked if there will be one, a network spokesperson only said season 24 will premiere in early 2017:
Planning for Top Gear series 24 is currently under way and the team will be working towards bringing the show back sometime in the early part of 2017.”
What do you think? Do you watch Top Gear? Do you think LeBlanc will make a good host?
