Order in the court. NBC has ordered the Trial & Error TV show to series. The pilot for theTrial & Error comedy series was developed with the working title, The Trail. Trial & Error comes from Jeff Astrov and Matt Miller. Miller created the Forever TV series, which was cancelled by ABC after one season.
The Trial & Error TV series cast includes: John Lithgow, Nicholas D’Agosto, Jayma Mays, Sherri Shepherd, Steven Boyer, and Krysta Rodriguez.

“TRIAL & ERROR”
In this outrageous fish-out-of-water comedy, bright-eyed New York lawyer Josh Segal heads to a tiny Southern town for his first big case. His mission? To defend an eccentric, “rollercizing” poetry professor (John Lithgow, “3rd Rock From the Sun“) accused of the bizarre murder of his beloved wife. Settling into his makeshift office behind a taxidermy shop and meeting his quirky team of local misfits, Josh suspects that winning his first big case will not be easy, especially when his client is always making himself look guilty. “Making a Murderer” can be funny!
The cast includes John Lithgow, Nicholas D’Agosto, Jayma Mays, Sherri Shepherd, Steven Boyer and Krysta Rodriguez.
Jeff Astrof and Matt Miller serve as writers and executive producers. Jeffrey Blitz directs. “Trial & Error” is produced by Barge Productions and Good Session Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Very funny show, I saw it for the first time on an airplane and watched every episode that they had available. I had the headphones in my ears and my wife said that I was laughing out loud. Can’t wait to see the rest of them and to see the next season.
This is a good show and thank you to the writers! As regard to the comment of Scotland… Sex talk? Now this is laughable! Are you a priest? I guess you just didn’t get it! Comedy is the hardest to write. This show is well written and I have a great respect for all the actors.
I love John Lithgow and watched the first two episodes. For me it had to much sex talk and inuendos. If the show had less sex talk I’d give it another try. But for now this show has to many errors to be on.
The show is great. Gives me good, old fashioned laugh out loud moments. The cast blends so well. Been singing its praises to everyone.

I’ll check out the pilot, but I don’t see this doing any better than “A to Z” or “Bad Judge”.
