Before its ninth season premiere, the Will & Grace TV show revival has been renewed for a 10th season of 13 episodes. Additionally, the ninth season has been expanded yet again. Although the Peacock Network originally ordered 10 episodes, in April, it increased that order to 12. Today, however, NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt announced season nine of Will & Grace will consist of 16 episodes.
Deadline broke the the Will & Grace season 10 renewal news from the TCA summer press tour. Will & Grace, season nine, premieres on NBC on September 28th at 9:00pm ET/PT. The NBC TV series stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally, Creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan are serving as showrunners and executive producers. James Burrows, who directed every episode of the original series, is also directing and executive producing.
Will & Grace originally ran for eight seasons on NBC, between 1998 and 2006. Universal Television is producing and distributing the new episodes. Production on season nine just began, this week.
