In good news for fans, James Patterson’s Zoo TV show has been renewed for a third season on CBS. The scripted summer drama series, based on Patterson’s best seller, is currently in its second season on the Tiffany Network.
The Zoo TV series cast includes: James Wolk, Kristen Connolly, Nonso Anozie, and Billy Burke. Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Michael Katleman, James Mangold, Cathy Konrad, Patterson, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout, and Steve Bowen executive produce.

CBS RENEWS HIT SUMMER SERIES “ZOO” FOR THIRD SEASON
CBS announced today the third season renewal of the hit series ZOO for broadcast during summer 2017. Currently in its second season, ZOO is this summer’s second most-watched original scripted broadcast.
The two-hour second season finale of ZOO airs Tuesday, Sept. 6 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT).
ZOO joins the next edition of the summer reality hit BIG BROTHER on CBS’s 2017 summer line-up. As previously announced, BIG BROTHER was picked up for two more editions, for summer 2017 and 2018.
Based on the #1 bestseller by James Patterson, ZOO is a global thriller about a wave of violent animal attacks against humans across the planet. ZOO is produced by CBS Television Studios. The series is distributed domestically by CBS Television Distribution and worldwide by CBS Studios International. Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Michael Katleman, James Mangold, Cathy Konrad, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout and Steve Bowen are executive producers.
The first season of ZOO is now available on Netflix in the U.S. Season two will be available Sept. 14, 2016.

I love Zoo so glad it has been renewed for a third season. Especially since apparently Billy Burke is not dead??? And Clementine is going to find him. YES!!! Awesome show. I love all of the actors on the show. They are first rate!
What did Clem mean that Mitch wasn’t dead? How did he survive the hybrid attack? Looking forward to season 3!
So happy to hear there will be a part three of Zoo. This has been and still is my favorite show of all time. The characters, actors, are amazing. Especially Who plays Jamie and Abraham. Is Mitch really still alive? I can’t wait for the next season. So excited!!!!

I am very, very pleased that this Show has been renewed. I am tired of the reality TV stuff and all of the other mess on Network TV and I am glad that a show that is just so good has been FINALLY been put on our screens. Thank You CBS for finally getting it right!

I have watched both seasons, and enjoyed them very much. Right up to the last minute, I thought the show was done. I am glad I was wrong. Bring on season 3!!!!
I absolutely love this show, it has become a must on my list of shows to watch. I record it so I can fast forward thru the commercial breaks, sorry Pizza Hut. Half-way through the season finale, when it looked like the show could have an ending, I paused the show to Google whether it had been picked up for season 3. Once comforted that I wasn’t watching the VERY END, I went back to watching. Wow! I love you guys so much. I absolutely fell in love with the show after the very first episode of season 1 First Blood I knew this was just going to be a awesome summer Thriller and drama and it was everything and more this was a show that I could not wait for every week and I was so excited for season two and now I’m jumping up and down here and there will be a season 3 it is amazing this show rocks it is boss can’t say any more about it it is so awesome if you haven’t seen all the seasons all… Read more »
I really liked watching didn’t start with 1 season working nights started 2 season and instant hooked and end was hoping Mitch was a live kept hoping soon yes I’m ready for season 3 n 4 n 5 keep it coming
