In good news for fans, James Patterson’s Zoo TV show has been renewed for a third season on CBS. The scripted summer drama series, based on Patterson’s best seller, is currently in its second season on the Tiffany Network.
The Zoo TV series cast includes: James Wolk, Kristen Connolly, Nonso Anozie, and Billy Burke. Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Michael Katleman, James Mangold, Cathy Konrad, Patterson, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout, and Steve Bowen executive produce.

CBS RENEWS HIT SUMMER SERIES “ZOO” FOR THIRD SEASON
CBS announced today the third season renewal of the hit series ZOO for broadcast during summer 2017. Currently in its second season, ZOO is this summer’s second most-watched original scripted broadcast.
The two-hour second season finale of ZOO airs Tuesday, Sept. 6 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT).
ZOO joins the next edition of the summer reality hit BIG BROTHER on CBS’s 2017 summer line-up. As previously announced, BIG BROTHER was picked up for two more editions, for summer 2017 and 2018.
Based on the #1 bestseller by James Patterson, ZOO is a global thriller about a wave of violent animal attacks against humans across the planet. ZOO is produced by CBS Television Studios. The series is distributed domestically by CBS Television Distribution and worldwide by CBS Studios International. Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Michael Katleman, James Mangold, Cathy Konrad, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout and Steve Bowen are executive producers.
The first season of ZOO is now available on Netflix in the U.S. Season two will be available Sept. 14, 2016.

I’m glad to hear that at least one show will be returning. It seems like every show I get into is gone almost as fast as it came on. There are series that run for 10,15 years and I wonder how they keep coming up with interesting plots and then shows that could go on are just gone. Who makes these decisions? Look at a lot of good programs like teen wolf, sons of anarchy and defiance they left way to soon. Are the writers just making throw away shows to fill the airwaves and hope they land a hit… Read more »
