To little surprise, ABC has cancelled 666 Park Avenue, their struggling Sunday night series. While the network will air all 13 episodes, there won’t be any after that. In addition, ABC also cancelled Last Resort today and CBS canned Partners.
666 Park Avenue follows a Midwest couple who’ve moved to New York City. They end up managing The Drake, a prestigious residential hotel that’s not as nice a building as it seems. The TV series features the talents of Terry O’Quinn, Vanessa Williams, Dave Annable, Rachael Taylor, Robert Buckley, Mercedes Masöhn, Helena Mattsson, Samantha Logan, and Erik Palladino.
The show debuted on September 30th, in ABC’s troubled Sundays at 10pm timeslot. The premiere’s ratings weren’t very impressive, attracting a mediocre 2.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.9 million total viewers. That was 30% lower than what Pan Am had registered a year earlier.
Park Avenue’s numbers have gotten even worse since the debut. The coveted demographic dropped to a 1.7 rating in week two (down 19%) and a 1.5 rating in week three (down another 12%). The ratings perked up a bit in weeks four (a 1.7 rating) and five (a 1.6 rating) but dropped to a 1.2 rating last Sunday.

I’m about to cry! I’m so sad! Please don’t cancel the show I love it. I can’t believe they would cancel such an amazing show!!! I know many people that enjoy it! Bring it back!!!
I was saddened to learn they cancelled my show. I really like this show and waited all week to watch another episode. So upset.
I am getting tired of ABC altogether. They seem to cancel the best shows and cater to the bad ones. They are about their programing just about like they are with their politics. I have had it with them and I can live without them and I know many more people feel the same way I feel.
One of the 4 shows we watch every week. Now, I suppose, it will be replaced by fake reality. Oh well. More Netflix now!
Just terrible that ABC has cancelled 666 Park Avenue – it was an awesome show!!! Maybe they should’ve moved it to a different night
Couldn’t they give it a second season?! I don’t watch much television at all, and it figures that one of the few shows I do watch gets the ax after one measly season. I would like to have seen a lot more of the Drake’s eerie story. ABC is not a channel I watch…well, except for 666, so I guess they’ve completely lost a viewer.
You have to be kidding me. I don’t watch alot of tv but I love shows like this. What is ABC thinking.
DON’T CANCEL THE SHOW…..is,the only diffetent one from anything out there now….like everyone said the time is not good a lot of,ppl have to,work the next day and,c asn’t stay up that late, just change the day an hour or,one of the other.
This show is super entertaining. The twists and turns keep you guessing. Please don’t cancel it!! Other drama series just don’t do it for me.

Typical ABC get a great show and cancel it. I give up on them. Thank god for CBS, NBC and cable because I am done with ABC (Already Been Cancelled)

This show is honestly amazing, and I am so sorry to hear that it is being canceled, it has just the right amount of action, suspense and romance. I honestly can not believe they canceled it, I think it was probably because of the time it was at, but if it was on at 10 pm on friday or saturday or 8 or 9 pm on any day, I’m certain the show would have had way more views. I can honestly say I am really going to miss this show!
