Cougar Town: Sixth and Final Season for TBS Sitcom

Cougar Town season sixDrink up! It will soon be time to say goodbye to gang from Cougar Town. TBS has renewed the sitcom for a sixth and final season of 13 episodes.

Cougar Town continues to follow Jules Cobb (Courteney Cox) and her wine-loving friends and family members. The rest of the cast includes Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd, Josh Hopkins, Ian Gomez, and Brian Van Holt.

The sitcom moved from ABC to TBS early last year and performed well for the cable channel. This year, the ratings dropped about 25% when compared to season four, averaging about 1.47 million viewers.

They’ve now decided to give Cougar Town one final round of episodes to say goodbye. Season six is expected to start airing in early 2015. There will be 102 episodes by the end.

What do you think? Are you glad that Cougar Town has been renewed? Are you upset that this will be the final season or, is this the right time?

Good show, but clearly TBS ruined it. That’s too bad. I’m a little surprised that this one is in the list.

The absolute worst show ever made. Its an embarrassment to American television but typical of the the crap produced today. Good riddance.

Hooray! This show isn’t totally terrible, but it’s just more of the volumes and volumes of crap that mainstream tv dishes out. You know…keep our minds occupied with useless amusements and we won’t have any energy left to devote to the REAL issues of life.

Cougar town has made me decide where I would want to live out the rest of my days. I’m 47 and I look like I’m in my mid to late 20s. The writing, directing and cinematography are excellent. The characters, well-developed, And this is coming from a heterosexual 37-year-old male.
