Made in Jersey: Petition, Ways to Help Save the CBS TV Show

On Made in Jersey, Martina Garretti (Janet Montgomery) does her best to win cases for her clients and to win over her workmates. Unfortunately, the TV show isn’t winning in the ratings and, unless things change, the show will be cancelled.

What can you do? Remember, the ideal scenario for CBS is for many millions of people to watch the show on their television sets, while it’s being broadcast. Unfortunately, ratings are put together based on a sampling of viewers. If you’re a “Nielsen household,” your viewing is being counted. If not, well, it’s not.

However, if you like Made in Jersey and want to see it continue, there are a few things you can do to help.

  1. If you’re a Nielsen family, watch the show whenever it’s on. If not, watch it on CBS.com or purchase episodes online so your viewing will be counted directly. Encourage others to watch the show. You might know a Nielsen family and not be aware of it.
  1. Talk about the show with others; at school, at work, online, or wherever. Creating a buzz about a show that you’re invested in gets other people interested and might help bring former viewers back.
  1. Sign the petition below and encourage others to do the same.
  1. Write to the network. Be respectful. Everyone responds better to courtesy. Tell them how much you enjoy the show, that you’ve signed the petition, and that you want to see it continue. You can use this form or, even better, write via “snail-mail” immediately to: Ms. Nina Tassler, CBS, 7800 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90039, RE: Made in Jersey
  1. Take note of the products that are advertised during the show. Write the advertisers and tell them that you appreciate their sponsoring the show and that you buy their products (if you do).

We, the undersigned, enjoy watching Made in Jersey on CBS. This TV series is funny, dramatic and heartfelt. It drew us in immediately and keeps us coming back for more.

Please find a way to keep Made in Jersey on the air. We are devoted viewers who will continue to watch the program, encourage others to do the same, and will support the series’ advertisers as well. Please keep it going, either on CBS or, if necessary, on another channel. If that isn’t possible, please find a way to wrap up the show.

    I LOVE this show!! I really hate to see it go! It is really such a shame that they create good shows and those are the ones they end. I could stand a little less reality shows and more shows like this!!! This is just too bad! :(

    CBS made a mistake! This show was GREAT! PLEASE bring it back! They brought back Unforgettable (awesome as well), so bring back Made in Jersey as well! I always DVR shows and watch them later. I wish CBS would bring it back.

    I love this show. I would love to see more of it. Please bring it back or sell it to another TV network or something but its a really amazing show that didn't deserve to be cancelled.

    This is a truly delightful show. Few shows stand a chance when they are put on Friday night. Could you try a new time slot and give it another chance. Too many shows are leaving the air too soon and I have reached the point where I don't even want to try a new series for fear that something I love will once again be cancelled.

    I think people got the wrong idea by the name alone. I know if I had not had the channel already tuned, then I would have never seen it. I would have thought by the name it was some reality garbage. New name and a reboot is all it needs!

    This was one of my favorite shows to watch. I always looked forward to the next episode. The fact that she was a Jersey-girl should t diminish the fact that she is witty and smart and very caring. She didn't portray that Jersey-Shore kinda of attitude. Not everyone from Jersey r like that, probably not even most. I think people judged it too quickly because of the Jersey-like aspect of the show. It showed an empowered young woman who despite where she came from and how her family was (loved them too!!!) that she could be whatever she wanted and that was to be the best lawyer she could. I can't believe they cancel all these shows so quickly and not give them a chance. At least let the 1st season play out. While they keep these horrible shows on, especially reality tv (I will say there are a few that are good, competetion ones make more sense). But give shows a chance please. I mean the networks picked it up to air so that should say something. THANKS!!!

    PLEASE renew "Made in Jersey"! It is very entertaining, fairly clean (a rarity among series!), very clever, features a strong, intelligent, very ethical, and beautiful lady lawyer, with complex family relationships, well-acted, unpredictable, and well-worth keeping!
