Revolution: Season Two Ratings

Revolution season two ratingsLast season, Revolution was the highest-rated show on NBC but the ratings fell throughout the season, even with The Voice as a lead-in. What will happen now that the show’s been moved to Wednesdays? Will it see a third season or will it be cancelled instead? We’ll have to wait and see.

Revolution revolves around the Matheson family and others who live in a world where there is no longer any power. The cast includes Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos, Giancarlo Esposito, Zak Orth, David Lyons, JD Pardo, Stephen Collins, and Elizabeth Mitchell.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

5/9 update: NBC has cancelled Revolution after two seasons and 44 episodes.

5/22 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

For comparisons: The first season of Revolution averaged a 2.6 rating in the demo and 7.21 million viewers.

These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you still like the Revolution TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for third season?

This is a great show. I watched from the beginning and remember the gaps being aired then the shift to another night. What happens is people want consistency and get sidetracked when you mess with their programs. I would like to see this series picked up with fresh writers to give this show the respect it deserves. It has an excellent story to tell the viewers.

At least give us some resolution why should any of us watch your shows when they can be ripped away at any moment with no closure it’s hard to enjoy a show now knowing if it’s not viewed by the millions it’s gone because poor NBC will only make a billion instead of 2billion if they aired all the lower viewed shows I don’t get it revolution was ingenious! Give us resolution please!!!

I can’t believe some of the most amazing and original shows are the ones to be cancelled because they are not trendy enough just because it’s not viewed by the masses does not mean it is not worthy of being aired usually shows that have these higher ratings are viewed by brain dead reality tv viewers revolution had a couple of million loyal viewers what the heck does it take to keep a show on now a days these ignorant corporate producers need to pay attention and maybe watch the shows themselves before canceling them I believe this show hit to close to home on how corrupt our own gov’t is and that we are on the brink of a revolution ourselves and NBC didn’t want to rock the boat well thanks a lot for ending yet another amazing show
