Revolution: Season Two Ratings

Revolution season two ratingsLast season, Revolution was the highest-rated show on NBC but the ratings fell throughout the season, even with The Voice as a lead-in. What will happen now that the show’s been moved to Wednesdays? Will it see a third season or will it be cancelled instead? We’ll have to wait and see.

Revolution revolves around the Matheson family and others who live in a world where there is no longer any power. The cast includes Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos, Giancarlo Esposito, Zak Orth, David Lyons, JD Pardo, Stephen Collins, and Elizabeth Mitchell.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

5/9 update: NBC has cancelled Revolution after two seasons and 44 episodes.

5/22 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

For comparisons: The first season of Revolution averaged a 2.6 rating in the demo and 7.21 million viewers.

These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you still like the Revolution TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for third season?

I think its a load of crap that only the ages between 18-49 are counted in ratings for TV shows…You have all this reality crap shows on that demeans and demoralizes us yet when a good show comes NBC cancels it…Give us a break NBC and put Revolution back on…From one of your “Over 60″ people whose voice should be counted!!!!!!!!

This was one of the best shows that NBC ever had…put in the wrong time slot & day, but one of the best. With all the huge decision mistakes of the past, I stopped watching NBC for CBS’ shows. Now I watch NBC again. Making another dumb decision to cancel such a great show would inevitably cause me and a lot of other viewers to switch off NBC again. This show depicted something that could conceivably be a reality in the future the way this country is headed, so let’s at least watch it for survival skills training! He he he….give em a chance by putting in decent time slot and day and the ratings will come up again, I’m sure!
