Royal Pains: Season Six Ratings

Royal Pains TV show on USA: season six ratingsThe ratings for Royal Pains have been going down for awhile. Will they continue to fall or will they start to rebound this summer? Will this USA show be cancelled after six years or, will it be renewed for a seventh season instead? Stay tuned to find out.

Royal Pains follows the continuing adventures of a former ER doctor (Mark Feuerstein) from New York who, along with his younger brother (Paulo Costanzo), runs a concierge doctor business in The Hamptons. The show’s cast includes Reshma Shetty, Brooke D’Orsay, Campbell Scott, and Ben Shenkman.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Update: Now that the season is over, will there be a seventh year?

Final season averages: 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.02 million total viewers.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

Reference point: Season five of Royal Pains averaged a 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.54 million total viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Royal Pains TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a seventh season?

Just watched the season finale but it looked like a series finale instead. Nothing was left on the table to draw you back. It’s like the ends were tied as if someone knows RP ain’t coming back. Hope I’m wrong, but something tells me it is a done deal.

I keep getting sucked in to good tv shows and then they come to an end! Please renew! I really like the cast of Royal Pains and need to see what happens with Divya. The story line is funny, educational and intelligent. Just leave the kardashians out of it. That one scene was such a low brow attempt at winning higher ratings! Come on. You are better than that!

I’m a Royal Pains Fan. I have to DVR it on Tuesday’s or watch it On Demand due to my schedule. Not a fan of the Kardashians. What’s up with that!

I have watched from the first episode, but won’t be watching the finale. I don’t watch or read anything Kardashian; not even for finale of Royal Pains.

Unfortunately, I won’t be watching the season finale now that I know you’ve stupid enough to bring the trash Kardashian’s on. They have a no morals and quite frankly I think plenty of people are tired of them bad move won’t be watching.

I can’t believe that some knuckle-head thought it was a GREAT IDEA to have a
Kar-trash-ian on the show. Don’t know if I’ll watch the season finale !!!

Royal Pains has been one of my favorite shows. However, the next episode has the Kardashians as part of the cast. That is a demonstration of vulgarity and desporation. I have watch my last episode.

I’m totally content with the show’s termination.
