TV show description:
Sebastion Stark (James Woods), nicknamed “Shark,” is a notorious Los Angeles defense attorney who has a reputation for winning his cases – at any cost. His life changes when a wife-beating client (that Stark had successfully defended), brutally kills his wife and boasts that his lawyer will save him once again.

Soonafter, Stark takes a job with the District Attorney’s office and begins to use his tactics to put criminals behind bars. He must work with his former nemesis, Jessica Devlin (Jeri Ryan), an ambitious and accomplished D.A. who despises Stark’s ruthless strategies.

Devlin teams him with a group of young prosecutors that have their eyes opened by Stark’s unorthodox tactics. Team members include arrogant Casey Woodland (Sam Page), smart and tough Raina Troy (Sophina Brown), South Central intellectual Martin Allende (Alexis Cruz), shrewd Madeleine Poe (Sarah Carter), and aggressive Danny Reyes (Kevin Alejandro).

At home, Stark must watch out for his 16-year-old daughter Julie (Danielle Panabaker) who comes to live with him after his ex-wife moves to New York.
