It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.

These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Once again, the networks have messed up and canceled a really good show, “The Finder”. I started watching it and got hooked on it from show 1. It had a really good plot, much better that what I was seeing on other TV Stations at that time. I hope that they really bring it back. Or at the very least give it a better ending than the final show had.

  2. Ana says

With a season final like that there really should be another season. There were unrealistic elements to the show, mostly when mobs or gangs were involved, but I liked the show non the less.

  3. Patrick says

That was one of the best shows on compaired to some of that reality crap that’s out there. I started watching it on Netflix because I got rid of cable and sat because of all those dumb shows, you should really bring it back.

My husband and I discovered the series on Bones and found it on Netflix. Give it a better time slot. It is a great show!

  6. Carolyn & Jim says

My husband and I loved The Finder. It was well written and the characters were genuine. We will miss the show. If Fox isn’t smart enough to put it back on maybe USA ot TNT will add it to their great original tv series.

The Finder Canceled???? why? the writers were on the spot and the cast perfect. We’ll miss Michael Clarke Duncan for sure, but instead of taking something off that has so many great qualities, why not cancel one of the other copy cat shows that plague the airways.
My hats off the folks that wrote, directed, acted, produced etc.

It seems like every time that a good show comes out that isnt filled with gay charactors it is canceled. The finder was an entertaining show one of the best in awhile.
