It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

My husband and I really enjoyed this series, it was something very different. We liked the stories, actors and characters, would love to see a second series.
My husband and I discovered the series on Bones and found it on Netflix. Give it a better time slot. It is a great show!
My husband and I loved The Finder. It was well written and the characters were genuine. We will miss the show. If Fox isn’t smart enough to put it back on maybe USA ot TNT will add it to their great original tv series.
I loved the Finder; was disappointed it wouldn’t be back. Sorry about the loss of a great actor.
The Finder Canceled???? why? the writers were on the spot and the cast perfect. We’ll miss Michael Clarke Duncan for sure, but instead of taking something off that has so many great qualities, why not cancel one of the other copy cat shows that plague the airways.
My hats off the folks that wrote, directed, acted, produced etc.
Fancy cancelling the finder excellent
I can’t believe they have canceled the finder it is a fantastic show. I watched it every week please bring it back
Loved finder why cancel something this enjoyable
I really liked the show and Please bring it back.
i can’t believe you have canceled the Finder. It was my favorite show and I have been waiting all summer for the next show. Please, Please bring it back.
It seems like every time that a good show comes out that isnt filled with gay charactors it is canceled. The finder was an entertaining show one of the best in awhile.
