It was a solid launch for the new comedy. It lost 23% of the demo audience from lead-in Big Bang Theory. However, ¡ROB! outperformed the season premiere of Rules of Engagement by 14% and December’s last original episode of Rules by 52%.
It was also a significant improvement for CBS (up 41% in the demo) when compared to last year’s ratings for now-cancelled $#*! My Dad Says. Unless the show seriously declines in the next couple weeks, it looks like the network may finally have found a compatible partner for Big Bang.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I find the show “Rob” extremely funny! Also, very creative and unique! I am spreading the word about this program.
This show is pretty great! This isn’t a random cast of Hispanic actors. They’re very hilarious/famous Hispanic comedians.
THIS SHOW IS VERY FUNNY. HOW DO I KNOW? THERE’S A LAUGH TRACK EVERY 20 SECONDS. FEED US ENOUGH CRAP AND WE’LL LEARN TO LIKE THE NEXT SPOON FULL. SOMEONE A CBS IS GETTING A KICK BACK.
Robert, if you don’t like this show why are you in this page checking the ratings?? lol Millions of people love this show and think is very funny, if you don’t..too bad!
One thing’s for sure, while you are complaining…the rest of us are laughing with this show!
CBS ROCKS!!! one of the funiest shows I’ve seen!!
I love this show!!!!!
I haven’t laughed soooo much in a very long time!!! Rob is doing a great job and is very funny! (love his funny faces specially when he’s talking to Hector!! hahahaha)
the in- laws are terrific ….and Hector…God!!… he’s hilarious!!!
please please!!! 2nd.Season!!!
Cheers! 🙂
i saw the prescreening in vegas before it aired on TV, and i thought this show was ****.
The beast show ever! Since chaplin times
Thank you to the person who commented that the people don’t even look related. This is my biggest peeve about shows with a “mexican” family. As usual, the just picked a pack of Latin actors, maybe they think they all look alike. The people don’t match and they all have different accents, I guess the show creators think they all sound alike too.
I like it!
The show is funny and I like the entire cast. Pick it up
l haven’t laughed this hard in a long time…pick it up!
yeah this Irob is funny and i do love.
yes like the show yes on pick up
yea i like it!! but why couldn’t they hire a Mexican actress, for Rob’s wife?? just saying!!!
They ripped How to be a gentleman off the air in what 3-4 eps? Rob will do the same. CBS needs to stop trying to kill shows that work like Rules O.E. for these awful ones. They need to put new shows on Saturdays like they tried with “Rules”
The series is clearly meeting its targeted audience. But I predict its cancellation within
several more airings. It’s way past it’s time and the comparable type shows of the 60’to 80’s
were so much better. And it has the worst laugh track of all time…no wonder the others
who commented that they laughed. They were led into it by the loud, obnoxious
sweetening. Please burn…..
