In the wake of the 2 Broke Girls TV show cancellation, Kat Dennings (Max Black), Beth Behrs (Caroline Channing), Jonathan Kite (Oleg), and Matthew Moy (Han Lee) have taken to social media to thank the sitcom’s fans for their six seasons of success.
Originally premiering in September of 2011, 2 Broke Girls ran for six seasons, before it was announced that CBS would not be renewing it for a seventh season.
Tweeting on behalf or herself and Behrs, Dennings wrote:
We’ve had a wonderful 6 seasons as Max and Caroline and we thank all of you for watching and enjoying it along with us. We are so proud of our time on 2 Broke Girls and of all the things this experience has given us, the most treasured is our lifelong friendship.
With love,
Kat and Beth

What do you think? Is this show ending too soon or at the right time. Should CBS have cancelled or renewed 2 Broke Girls for a seventh season?
I still always watch and support the show. I like everything that was put into the entire production. Thanks for all the fun and laughs this show brought to me. Why does anything that’s good in life have to come to an end?
I think this sounds like the cast of “2 Broke Girls” is giving up. That is really sad for me to see. A year ago, Connie Britton made a similar statement when her show “Nashville” was cancelled by ABC, yet “Nashville” still got revived for a fifth season on CMT.
This is a funny and clever show that appeals to the every day struggles that we all face. CBS programming just might be out of touch with it’s viewers. The next they are in a diner they should put down the demographics report and look a person in the eye to know what we relate to as people not just numbers on a report.
This is crazy in this day and time the one show that makes you laugh and it gets canceled. CRAZY CBS why are you doing this. NO CBS shows for me I will find another network to watch.
CBS is full of a bunch of idiots to not renew one of the funniest shows out
They need to renew 2 broke girls
I am so tired of them cancelling with a cliff hanger! I know they don’t give a **** but it is getting old!
I am so upset!!! I loved this show! How dare you guys not make any more seasons! This show had a lot more years left! you can say we were left on a cliff hanger, so much unanswered…… why why why ! please come back please!
I am so sad!! I love this show and all of the characters. Love how the character’s lives are moving along with Sophie and Oleg getting married and having a baby. Caroline finding love. And the icing on the CUPCAKE – Randy’s proposal to Max!!! It brought tears to my eyes. This show definitely has a good couple more years left. I pray they change their minds about cancellation, but I’m afraid the only way we can spend time with “our girls” is on reruns. SOOO SAD in Miami.
Tragic. That’s all I can say. I was so stinking happy at the thought of Cher’s appearance.
Too soon. Im going to miss them so much.
