24: Legacy will not feature the continuing adventures of Jack Bauer, but fans could see the character return to the small screen at some point.

Kiefer Sutherland spoke about Jack Bauer while out promoting his new series, Designated Survivor, and he is happy to see the world of 24 continue. According to Rolling Stone, he said the following:

“It’s a phenomenal script. I think it’s going to be incredibly liberating for the writers to not have to figure out one more bad day for Jack Bauer. They get to write for new characters. And Bauer’s still out there, so you never know what’s going to happen.”

24: Legacy will feature a new cast of characters and tell a new story, but Jack Bauer is still around – somewhere.
