After running for eighth seasons, FOX cancelled the 24 TV series due to declining ratings. Now, the characters are back for a “limited” series of 12 episodes. Will the ratings be good enough for the network to renew 24 for another season or will this be the end for Jack Bauer for good? Stay tuned!
24: Live Another Day: is set four years after the events of season eight and finds Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) in London, once again trying to prevent a global disaster. The rest of the cast includes Yvonne Strahovski, Tate Donovan, Mary Lynn Rajskub, William Devane, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Giles Matthey, Michael Wincott, Benjamin Bratt, and Kim Raver.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. “24” is THE BEST show there has ever been on TV. It is still as good as ever. PLEASE RENEW IT!!!

They should have left the old episodes on Netflix so new viewers could fall in love with Jack Bauer too. And it would help those of us rusty on 24. Alas! I still like 24 🙂
Yes Fox and the 24 producers should keep 24 and not run it is as a summer limited event. To compare old ratings for the show in a better seasonal time slot and 4 years ago when the DVR and streaming on your schedule weren’t the normal viewing choice is completely unfair to the show and the audience. Move the show to a feature fall or winter time slot and don’t hold the audience hostage to hoping the show will return and viewers will commit!
Definitely renew this show. It is one of the best on television and I really do not understand why more people are not watching it.

Fox would be foolish to bot renew this series. I am sick of reality TV. This is at least something viewers enjoy. Even of there are only 2 hour movies hwre and there throughout the year Jack needs to live
Renew…..possible as a spring/summer series. Gotta find a way to attract new fans though. Mostly I heard from friends and family ” I never watched the original” so they don’t quite get it. May need to run on antenna stations or find some way to get people PS he’d about it. I had choir practice Monday nights ( no cable or DVR) so I had to watch it online for most if the season. Are you kidding me! Of course it needs to be renewed. There is no better show, there are no better writers for anything that’s on TV. I don’t understand how people can waste there time watching a TV sitcom about two tramps. Of course I’m talking about 2 Broke Girls.has society got into the toilet or what, 24 is needed for this time because this country needs a hero again.and Jack Bauer is that hero!
