What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, American Crime stars Regina King, Felicity Huffman, Connor Jessup, Richard Cabral, and Benito Martinez. Recurring players include Sandra Oh, Cherry Jones, Tim DeKay, Janel Moloney, Dallas Roberts, Timothy Hutton, Lili Taylor, Ana Mulvoy-Ten, Mickaëlle X. Bizet, and Clayton Cardenas. In season three, Luis Salazar (Martinez) travels from Mexico to the United States, without documentation. Searching for his missing son, he discovers that modern servitude is thriving in the farmlands. Living in poverty and required to pay for their own food and other essentials, what little money workers earn ends up back in their employers’ pockets. This corrupt arrangement leaves them in such debt, that they can never leave. Undocumented workers aren’t the only people targeted by this system.
Season Three Ratings

Telly’s Take
The third season premiered with very poor numbers and they’ve gotten worse. Based on the ratings, American Crime should be cancelled. That said, this TV series has always been a poor performer, yet here it is in season three. Have the numbers dropped too low to be renewed? I think so.

Best show I have ever seen. The acting and writing and directing are phenomenal. Please renew for those of us who really appreciate the true genious of the American Crime experience!
This is the BEST dramatic show on television. You must watch it from the beginning though. No joining late. It is serious. I will hate to see it end. I vote for renewal. Great acting and directing and important topics!
Real stories that are well written and acted. This season was a bit “flat” and confusing early in the season and could have impacted ratings. Please continue!

One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Phenomenal acting and incredible writing. Not a happy show, but it pulls the covers off the things that a lot of people don’t want to think about or acknowledge. I wish everyone would watch it.
Keep it on for the fans if they enjoy it. Its a really good show!
PLEASE do NOT cancel American Crime! It is a thought provoking, wonderfully written, directed, and acted show. We need another season at the very least!
