In addition, it’s been revealed that pop star Rihanna will be checking into the Bates Motel as Marion Crane, the ill-fated character that Janet Leigh first played in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho feature film.
According to TVLine, Rihanna had previously said that she was a big fan of the series. This prompted producers to reach out to her about the role.
Executive producer Carlton Cuse has said that the cast and crew plan to put their own take on the parts from the iconic film. He said, “We will be colliding with certain events in the narrative of the film… but it would be boring to just recreate Psycho.”

I look forward to the start of the next season to start even before each season has ended… I could watch this show every week for a year and never get tired of it. I am usually a big fan of A&E programming but I’m sure not a fan of Bates being canceled. This is one of the best shows they have ever produced – so well done with superb actors. I am not a happy camper.

I am so sure , I cant believe that there will not be a season 6 for Bates motel. I am certainly going to miss my favorite T,V. Show. How could you leave us all in suspense on what is happening after the end of season 5. Thanks a lot!!!!!! NOt Happy!!!!
I love this series, thought they could go further with the story line. Sorry they are taking it off.
