About Bates Motel Season Five
The fifth season of Bates Motel picks up almost two years after the season four finale. Now a grown man, Norman is living a double life. While he appears to be well adjusted, back home, Norman struggles. As his blackouts increase, will Mother (Vera Farmiga) take over, completely?
Dylan Massett (Max Thierot) and Emma Decody (Olivia Cooke) are completely unaware of Norma’s death and Norman’s utter psychosis. Soon, they will find themselves back in the thick of his insanity. Meanwhile, Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) is currently incarcerated for perjury. That gives him plenty of time to plots to destroy his stepson and avenge the murder of his one true love, Norma Bates.
A&E says, “New faces find their way to the Bates Motel this season to further complicate Norman’s life and threaten to unearth his dark secrets.”
During season five, viewers will finally meet Marion Crane. In addition, a new couple in town, Madeleine (Isabelle McNally) and Sam Loomi (Austin Nichols) will be ensnared by Norman’s life. Sheriff Dana Greene (Brooke Smith) will too. This kicks off a chain of events which could blow the lid off Norman’s secret.
Finally, familiar faces like Caleb Calhoun (Kenny Johnson) and Chick Hogan (Ryan Hurst) will return with their own agendas.
