With a great lead-in, Beauty and the Beast has the best chance of any new CW show this season of getting solid ratings. Will it survive or, like last year’s Secret Circle, or will it be cancelled?
Following a young beautiful homicide detective and her handsome-yet-scarred protector, Beauty and the Beast typically airs Thursday nights on The CW network. The cast includes Kristin Kreuk, Jay Ryan, Nina Lisandrello, Brian White, Max Brown, Nicole Gale Anderson, and Austin Basis.
Below are the TV show’s ratings for the 2012-13 season, the best way to tell if Beauty and the Beast will be cancelled or renewed for a second season.

Year-to-year, compared to The Secret Circle’s premiere in the same post-Vampire Diaries timeslot, the network was down by 8% in the demo (vs a 1.3 rating) and down 8% in viewership (vs 3.05 million). While these numbers were still very good, Beauty and the Beast won’t survive if its numbers fall like Secret Circle’s did.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

If only one season, please give as good ending this beautyfull story.
I’m so in love with this show!
Please, more Vincent and Cat, the ratings higher!
Cat must be a monogamic and more inteligent woman..if she loves Vincent why she doing stupid things with Evan? Kissing him? Why? I don’t understand, he is only friend!
He’s a playboy, bad boy, he have too many girls..i dont’ trust him, he’s a bad man.Wtf?
More good crime scene, little sci-fi or something
Season 2 for Beauty and the Beast! This show is awesome! Love, love Beauty and the Beast!
I’ve been a longtime fan of the Vampire Diaries, and I tried to get into The Secret Circle, but just couldn’t. But, this year, I’m ADDICTED to Beauty and the Beast–I actually look forward to it more than TVD. Hope CW keeps it around for many seasons. LOVE IT!
This TV show is GREAT!!! And is getting even better each episode, hopefully it will have a second season!!
Kristin should guest star on Arrow. Her photo ops with Stephen Amell show they have great chemistry together.
More romance & Vincent backstory (parents, why he became a soldier- a lot could be played here) and less police stuff.
Look at vampire diaries. It’s more vampire stuff, less high school life.
People tune in for supernatural + romance. Throwing something like police work into the mix might bore this genre audience. It works in novels like JR WARD series, but for tv? Look what happened with blood ties and moonlight. Police + supernatural is a risky mix. I really hope beauty and the beast will be an exception.
I’m so in love with this show! I will literally go to CW and cry on my knees if it got cancelled!
I think it’s a really good show and I hope that it gets renewed for a second season!
OMG we love the show so much. Best new show the CW has. We are so hooked thursdays is the best day of the week for us with Vampire Diaries and Beauty and the Beast. Please don’t cancel it!!!
I think I could like it but it needs some work. The characters need to be developed more. Right now, I feel like I am only getting half a show. (her work half). I want to get to know her better. Her partner is a wasted character (strictly speaking about the character here- not the actress.). I would like to see her sister become a more integral part of the show.
Love it
yes i like it but hope it will not end thank you
I am addictive to the new show beauty & beast will watch it. The story is just getting good!
Keep Beauty and the Beast, have watched it each week and intend to keep watching it. Rating will increase as story unfolds as the story is strangely addictive.
I LOVE this Show!! Great actors, interesting plot = enough to keep the show going.
I always look forward to Thursdays, and this show is definitely is the main reason why.
I hope it stays around for a while, very interested to know how the plot will evolve.
PLEASE! Don’t cancel it, I’m begging you :(( IT IS A GREAT SHOW!!
