NBC has had success launching new shows after The Voice. Unfortunately, the ratings have often tanked once the show didn’t have that strong lead-in (Revolution, for example). Will Believe be a hit or will it be cancelled after one season? Stay tuned to find out.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/9 update: Believe has been cancelled by NBC after one season.
6/16 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context here.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Believe TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for second season?
I liked the first couple episodes, but Bo has gotten to be demanding and really quite bratty. I could only get through half of the latest episode before I quit. I wouldn’t miss it if it gets canceled.
the show is written very good, the cast is also excellent. some similiarity to Touch. hope it isn’t cancelled like Touch.
the storylines are familiar, but the show does it with great charm, and the characters are engaging. all the elements are there, it all comes down to the writing as to where it might go. be a shame to kill it without giving it a good chance.
PLEASE don’t take this show away!!! I never miss an episode even if I have to tape it.
YOU ARE ABSOLUTLY RIGHT ZACH B. LET EVERYONE KNOW. LEARN TO BELIEVE AGAIN!!!
As of the episode that aired 2 nights ago (ep. 1-5) the show is definitely taking a turn away from the old Bo risking her and Tate’s freedom in order to help others, or at least it was much better in terms of the integration this episode. On top of that, the preview for ep. 1-6 made me absolutely drool. Episode 1-6 (titled “Sinking”) looks to be in a much different format than the last five and especially the first four. So, if you quit watching early in the series, I highly recommend that you pick it back up. The… Read more »
Absolutely love this show I will be so upset if it is cancelled. This is the only thing I’ve found that I actually like other than the infamous walking dead :/
I love Believe. Maybe it should be moved to another evening.
I enjoy the show and want to see more, before the premiere even aired I only saw one commercial for it. I watch NBC shows a lot and have barely seen anything for the upcoming episodes except on Sunday nights before and after it is on. The viewers always get screwed over in the end because networks don’t care enough to advertise.
Here’s a funny story. I actually watched the other show on the Sundance channel in English sub-titles, called The Returned. I watched four unbelievably boring episodes and called it quits. Then, ABC turns around and makes the SAME show and calls it Resurrection! I watched two of them, fell asleep during both and called that one quits. Now, NBC comes up with a great show called Believe. With almost NO advertisements, and people thinking this show would be like the God inspired (sarcasm) Resurrection, nobody watched Believe, a pretty exciting, fun show with a good story and WAY more action… Read more »
couldn’t have said it better myself. Resurrection is incredibly boring but I think the reason it was such a hit is because of the advertising. Resurrection really is a boring show and I hope Believe makes a comeback!
I tried the show and I believe it isn’t that good. So consider me an unbeliever.
IF YOU ARE AN UNBELIEVER…WATCH THE SHOW AGAIN…WATCH IT ON DEMAND…YOU WILL BELIEVE…YOU WILL BE A BELIEVER…JOIN THE BELIEVERS
Seriously? You’re considering cancelling the show already? I think its awesome! Dont become like FOX, cancelling the best shows and keeping all the sucky ones!
ABC is the worst network when it comes to not giving shows a chance. Their most recent cancellation is Mind Games after airing only 5 episodes out of 13. ABC didn’t have it available On Demand, and a LOT people choose to watch that way nowadays.
Anyway, I adore Believe, and do NOT want to see it cancelled like Mind Games was.
I didn’t even know about Mind Games until it got cancelled. These moron networks (except CBS) can’t understand the concept that ADVERTISING is the only way to giving a show a chance! Read my above comments about Believe!
Believe is great! don’t cancel it yet! you haven’t seen all of it’s potential D=
I was really looking forward to this show & liked the first episode but now it is getting redundant. They need to spend a few episodes building more of a back story & the truth behind the intentions of the institute Bo escaped from instead of each episode being a repeat of Bo & her dad ALMOST being captured & then getting away! The cast is very good & there are a lot of good possibilities as to where the story could go. The writers need to get on with it already!
