TV show description:
Bo (Johnny Sequoyah), a young girl, has had gifts she could neither fully understand nor control — like levitation, telekinesis, the ability to control nature, and to see the future. Now that she’s 10 years old, her powers have become stronger and the threat from malevolent forces — those that would use her abilities to control the world — has grown more dangerous.
With her life and future in jeopardy, Bo’s protector, Milton Winter (Delroy Lindo), turns to an unlikely source to keep her safe — Tate (Jake McLaughlin), a wrongfully imprisoned death row inmate who’s lost his will.
Tate and Bo begin an extraordinary journey, one in which trust must be earned. On the run and traveling from city to city, every place they stop and everyone they meet are changed forever. They have to keep going to stay one step ahead of the evil forces after Bo’s power.
Other characters include Channing (Jamie Chung), an associate of Winter’s; Skouras (Kyle MacLachlan), Winter’s former partner who’s after Bo for unknown reasons; and Corey (Arian Moayed).
Episode #12 — Second Chance
Dr. Skouras meets with Winter to warn him about Danni, his promising young rogue telepath who’s determined to destroy Bo. Danni has the power to kill Bo, but she’s a ticking time bomb. She will succumb to her illness before long, and she’ll be trying desperately to take down Bo on her way out. Winter reluctantly agrees to help Skouras, but there’s a problem: Winter has no idea where Bo and Tate are.
Meanwhile, Bo and Tate make their way across the country toward Mexico. Tate urges Bo to use her powers to procure a winning lottery ticket, ensuring a happy, comfortable future for years to come. Bo has a vision in which she sees her mother, Nina, who tells Bo to ask the convenience store cashier about her charm bracelet. Bo talks to the cashier, who turns out to be Danni’s former best friend. By touching the charm bracelet, Bo gains insight into Danni’s troubled past. She watches as Danni inadvertently kills her own brother after losing control of her powers.
Winter devises a plan to lure in Danni: he’ll to use Channing as live bait to draw Danni out. He hypnotizes Channing to implant a psychic signal that will attract Danni. The plan works perfectly. Danni arrives at the hideout and Skouras’ team fills the room with gas, but instead of succumbing to the chemicals, Danni charges out of the room in a rage and attacks Channing and Winter, torturing them to extract Bo’s location. Danni realizes that Winter has been monitoring Bo by tracking Tate’s cell phone. Now she can find and destroy Bo, thanks to Winter.
Bo and Tate visit Danni’s old home to learn more about their adversary. In Danni’s room, they discover evidence that Danni did, in fact, kill her brother. Bo feels that Danni deserves a second chance, but Tate doesn’t think she can be saved. Unfortunately, the conversation is cut short when Danni bursts into the room. Tate attempts to protect Bo, but Danni easily dispatches him by slamming him against a wall. Before Bo can react, Danni creates a havoc of wind and electrical energy, snatches Bo and locks Tate in the room.
Meanwhile, Skouras heads to the Orchestra facility to wipe the hard drives clean. If Danni’s actions cause the story to go public, the last thing he needs is a media storm around his top secret government project. Winter and Channing find Tate at Danni’s old home, and Winter has a good idea where Danni will be headed with Bo: Orchestra.
Just as Skouras finishes wiping the hard drives clean, Danni enters with Bo. Tate, Winter and Channing arrive at the facility moments later to find Bo and Skouras tied up, and Danni surprises them. Winter tries to talk Danni out of her plot, but she refuses to comply. Instead, she locks the doors, trapping them inside. After a failed attempt to break Danni’s psychic bond and force the doors open, Bo sees her mother, Nina, again. Nina tells Bo that she can save everyone, including Danni, with kindness. After the pep talk from Nina, Bo finds the strength to force the doors open.
Winter, Channing, Skouras, Tate and Bo charge into the courtyard to find Danni, more enraged than ever and surrounded by a tornado of fire. Just as she’s about to unleash her fury on the group, Bo walks through her fire tornado and tells Danni that her brother forgives her. It’s all Danni needed to hear. She extinguishes her flames and collapses to the ground, where she succumbs to her ailments and dies.
Bo has saved the day, but the celebration is short-lived. Winter tells Bo to leave with Tate immediately, before the police arrive. Sadly, this is the end of the line for Winter and Bo. If she’s to be safe, they can never see one another again. After Tate and Bo depart, Skouras tells Winter to flee as well. He’ll take the blame for this. Bo and Tate hit the road again en route to the quiet, peaceful life that Bo deserves. (courtesy NBC.)

What do you think? Do you like the Believe TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Please do not take this show of the air. It is one of the first shows my son and I have bonded over. We look forward to it every week because all the other programming is crap. Please reconsider… Remember Lost….. Should have only lasted one season and people loved it. People love Believe!
I love this show. I am extremely disappointed in NBC at this point. I am getting to the point that I am not going to watch any shows on this network because they always cancel them. It is getting a bit ridiculous.
Love the show. Do not cancel it. It’s one of the few good shows that a family can watch together.
I agree with all of the above. This was a great show that my wife and I looked forward to. If I see one more reality show or cop drama I think I’ll be sick. From now on it’s no new network television; only sports, Netflix movies and TV series on Netflix that we know have some future.
My friends and I get together and watch this show ALL THE TIME. Its absolutely GREAT! They need to bring it back!
The network didn’t give this program time to establish a large fan base due either program placement or competing with other networks stronger shows. If anyone remembers
“All In The Family” didn’t do well in its initial ratings the scheduling for that program was changed and the rest is television history. As many other follows have written this program is good family entertainment.
I too enjoy Believe. I like the relationships, the love between a father and daughter, the love of so many people for this little girl. I like that the story line didn’t contain sex and violence. Please bring it back. Such a sad testament that this network cancels smart television for dumbed down reality nonsense.
i have enjoyed this new series and am very dis-hearted about the cancellation. Why do you all refuse to give GREAT NEW Show a chance? I hope that another network picks it up and continue the series.
Why do they alway cancelled good tv show. I didn’t think that Believe is bad tv show to watch at all. I’m alway looking forward to sunday night so i can watch Believe. Now that it is cancelled it make me sad.
I am so disappointed by this news. It was my 12-year-old daughter that noticed it said “series finale” instead of “season finale”. I was horrified! It is one of the few suspenseful shows that we can watch together. As previously stated, it does not have the kind of grotesque violence and disgusting scenes that are unsuitable for most people! I am so sick of getting involved in a show only for the network to decide that it needs to be canceled without giving it a fair shot. I really hope there is a change in the status!
I feel sick that this show is ending. Whenever a show comes on television that does not involve sex or violence it is cancelled. I guess that just shows the mentality of the audience out there. If it does not contain sex or violence nobody wants to watch it. This is a heartwarming show and I love it.
Our parents used to warn us in the late ’50s and early ’60s that “watchin’ that boob tube is gonna turn your brain to mush”. Apparenly that’s exactly what’s happened to about 60 percent of America. While Believe may not be the greatest TV drama, it does/did feature an interesting plot, established actors such as Delroy Lindo, and a darling little newcomer in Johnny Sequoyah. It held my interest if for no other reason than to see where Bo’s powers would reach. However, almost twice as many viewers (especially in the key 18-39 age group) taxed their brains watching (Gag!!)… Read more »
Believe is the ONLY show that my family and I actually watch religiously; something we look forward to every Sunday evening. Please bring it back!!!
Conspiracy Networks draw the viewers and Advertisers in, as the spider did the fly . The Networks tease use, with 10 episode. Wine and dine us without no happy ending.. I feel like they played with our emotion. Hunted down, and killed cupid and broke viewers heart year after year. Really, year Networks decided to cancel 90 percent of the shows I was watching. All because Allusion of live TV. Advertiser Should be aware that networks r pulling their leg with live viewers. Nielsen forums ask u which show u watch live and which one u dvr and im sure… Read more »
At least you weren’t one of the “riters” (sic)
I really enjoyed Believe. It wonderfully demonstrated the bond between father and daughter. I wish that it was still on the air. I am very picky about what I watch and DVR. Sunday night is a tough night. Maybe another network will pick it up or we can see it online.
