Freeform is trying a different strategy with their new Beyond TV show. They’re releasing the whole season of 10 episodes online after only two episodes have aired on regular television. It’s difficult to know how they’ll measure success. Do the regular ratings even matter? Is Beyond assured of a second season renewal or, is it already doomed to be cancelled? Stay tuned.
The Beyond TV series revolves around a young man named Holden Matthews (Burkely Duffield) who wakes up from a 12 year coma. Holden finds that the world has changed since he went to sleep but he’s a very different person as well and is now at the center of a dangerous conspiracy. The rest of the Freeform cast includes Michael McGrady, Romy Rosemont, Jonathan Whitesell, Dilan Gwyn, and Jeff Pierre.

My husband and I also binged watched all 10 episodes this past week. (We are 38 and 48). We only have basic cable, so HULU was the only way we could watch it. And obviously we aren’t alone. Plus, why would we wait to watch each episode if we don’t have too? This has to be the reason in sudden drop of ratings. The show is great. Please have a season two!
I think this show has great potential, it is different from all the rest of the normal fantasy genre. It is very well acted and the script writing is very good. It would be a shame if this didn’t have a second season.
Wow, apparently everyone must be watching the series online since it’s available to binge, I’m guessing that’s why ratings are dropping so badly because they don’t usually go down as far as they have and the whole season was available to binge online the day it started. People must’ve watch the premiere live and binged the rest.
Watched and enjoyed the whole series. However, I am not part of your demographic, I am 65. Cop shows get boring.

I really enjoyed this serie. It’s the kind of suspence and Clift hangers that I love in a show, so a really love for a 2nd season. Also, having it online to bench in a snowy day was the best! Please renewed for a second season.
Welp. Im writing this at approximately 5am because i may or may not have binged watched the entire first season in one night. Loving this show, i really hope it gets a season 2. I also seriously LOVE how the whole season was available instead of waiting every week while it records on my dvr then waiting till the show is over or till the next day cause i cant stand commercials lol.

So many times I have seen tv shows, fallen in love with them and disappointed to find out that there will be no season 2. I work hard and not many thing catch my attention when i get home from work besides my kids, but I saw the commercials and was automatically hooked. I binged all the episodes today. Please tell me there is going to be a continued series with possibly more episodes per season like the dc shows or other shows on the cw network.
I am curious how the ratings are calculated. I don’t watch weekly. I watched all of the episodes with my kids over a weekend.
I really enjoyed watching “Beyond”. It kept my interest right to the 10th episode and can’t wait for the next season. I do hope this show is renewed!!
