Of all of the networks, CBS has the most viewers. Unfortunately, their shows also tend to skew older. CBS tends to be the most tight-lipped of the networks so early news of renewals and cancellations doesn’t happen as often.
Here’s a listing of CBS TV shows with their current status. This list encompasses shows that have aired from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
We’ll keep updating the list throughout the May upfronts when decisions are made about most of the shows’ fates. Keep checking back, especially if your favorite is still on the fence.

I am losing Mercy, Cold Case, Numb3rs, and GHOST WHISPERER!!! (I saved the best for last…)
WHAT is left?!?!?! UGH..
i understand cold case and three rivers being cancelled and i never heard of there goes the neighborhood so who cares.i hate to see the rest go especially old christine, ghost whisperer and my new fav miami medical was like if CSI miami had a baby with grey’s anatomy and whala. The lead doc is such a natural cutie i remeber her from Windfall,Swingtown, and spin city.
I am really gonna miss the forgotten, cold case and Gary unmarried. I agree it seems they take the good shows off and leave most of the crappy one on. I take that back there are some good one still on but some nights there is just nothing worth watching.
Woe unto us. I am really sad to hear that “The new adventures of old Christine” is not coming back. COME ON PEOPLE….Help.
Really, New Adventures of Old Christine? Gone? Why?
I guess its time to start watching another channel because CBS is canceling all of the good shows and leaving some crap on. What are you people thinking of- keep Ghost Whisperer and Miami Medical…. I love these shows
I am sad to see 3 of my long time favorites go and two that didnt get a chance to get off the ground. I will miss looking forward to tuning in to the wonderful writing, story telling & acting I looked forward to on a weekly basis of the shows Numbers, Cold Case and the great long running original Law & Order. I wish at least for Law & Order there is a decent wrap up movie out of respect for the long time loyal viewers. I do think it is sad the networks didnt allow a better wrap… Read more »
im absolutely disgusted i finally find shows i love and everyone of them are being cancelled. Gary unmarried The new adventures of old christine, Eastwick, and there are a few more. What are we suppose to watch now? We pay alot of money for cable and would like to watch shows we like. Why dont you cancel the stupid shows like the big bang theory and How i met your mother and leave the good shows on.
I loved miami medical. do not know why.
I really liked Gary Unmarried and Old Christine. I really can’t believe that they will have new sitcoms that will be able to outdo either.
Very disappointed that Gary unmarried and Old Christine have been canceled. They were two of the programs that I always had on my regular recording schedule so I wouldn’t miss a show. But who cares about the public? It’s the show planners who seem to like to show their power by canceling shows that only a couple million people love. Huh?
I forgot to mention in my earlier comment that your programming on Sunday is lousy. Why can’t sports events be put on another channel? I am sure most people have cable or satellite which comes with sports channels that these games could be shown and they could watch. I think that Cold Case should be kept on and end some of these reality shows; they seem to be taking over every channel. My husband and I do not watch these nor are we into sports.
I am so confused with these people who make the decisions to cancel these great shows! What is going through there heads, NUMBERS, GHOST WHISPER, COLD CASE, DAYTIME SOAP (As the World Turns) it ha sbeen on the air for 54 frickin years, people have grown up with this. Why are they taking all the good ones off. Take off the STUPID REALITY SHOWS!!!! Like Dancing W/ the stars and the Bacholarette and the Bacholar and please leave the GOOD shows ALONE. I don’t know why I am writing this no one is going to listen to me. But if someone… Read more »
Ghost Whisperer & Garry Unmarried!!!! CBS just lost my whole family as viewers. I hope ABC picks ups both these shows and I really hope you finish dead last in the ratings for years to come!
I will miss Cold Case, I think that is one of the best shows on TV. I’m also surprised at the cancellation of The New Adventures of Old Christine…there’s a comedy that actually makes me laugh!
I am very unhappy to hear that Cold Case was cancelled. I watched it alot; when it came on TV on time; it seemed like it was always coming on late or not at all due to sports events or Amazing Race. I guess more reality shows will be coming on instead of more good shows like Cold Case.
Of all the networks , I watch CBS the most and now they are cancelling many of the programs I love to watch. Seems all the medical shows are cancelled, plus cold case, the forgotten and ghost whisperer. I suppose more crap will become the new shows. I however will switch to other networks or stop watching tv altogether.
