The Alphabet Network is at home in Shondaland. TV Line reports The Catch TV show on ABC has been renewed for a second season. When the series was not included in ABC’s early season, fans feared The Catch would be cancelled.
A high-stakes private investigator/cat-and-mouse drama, The Catch features Mireille Enos as Alice Vaughan, who runs an excluse P.I. and security firm, Anderson/Vaughan, with her best friend and partner Valerie Anderson (Rose Rollins). When Alice’s fiancé, Christopher Hall (Peter Krause) targets swindles her out of 1.4 million dollars and disappears, she learns he is the Mr. X she has been tracking for her clients — master con artist Benjamin Jones. Alimi Ballard, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Sonya Walger, and Elvy Yost also star.

I love the acting. Cool and confident yet a touch of suspense with class.
I really like The Catch and will watch it for as many seasons that it runs. I was devastated when I thought it would not be renewed. I like the actors, romance, suspense, humor, and interweaving of client stories with the protagonist’s story.
An excellent start for season 1. If the quality is retained then it should run for many seasons. It reminds me a little of Suits…..glamour, tension, humour and good actors. In the UK we are just getting to the end of Season 1.
Most captivating show in years, the twists and turns and compounded double-crosses are fun and riveting. ..I still don’t know if anyone can be trusted. I hope they have multiple seasons keeping me guessing!

My family got hooked hard on this show after I introduced them to the first episode. Love this and so glad it got renewed. It has a feel to it that isn’t too serious, but still suspenseful. I’m reminded of the best movies in this genre, which I love, such as Charade, It Takes a Thief, How to Steal A Million, Dead Heat On a Merry Go Round, and the more current, Focus. This is a fun, popcorn-eating, high-five cheer inducing, pleasure to watch.
After “The Killing” I couldn’t wait to see Mireille Enos in another tv show. The Catch wasn’t great, but entertaining, until the show surprised me with a lesbian scene . I HATE that crap! Don’t appreciate it and with no warning try’s to force me to view it. I paid for the season so I can see the show and had no idea that was in it. Wish I can get a refund.
