Claws has added an actress from Hawthorne to its cast. Deadline reported that Suleka Mathew will recur on the new dark comedy. The series returned with all-new episodes on Sunday night.
Deadline shared more about Mathew’s role on the TNT series:
“Mathew will play Arlene Branch, a tough, sexy cop surrounded by corruption at work. She enters into a risky relationship with Quiet Ann (Judy Reyes). She will encounter obstacles both personal and professional that she never expected.”
Mathew has also appeared on Red Widow and How to Get Away with Murder. She will recur on Claws.

are wonderful shows family members have each other back. good show.
I like dark and edgy…that’s what this show is supposed to be according to TNT and the critics. Well…I gave it a chance to grab me…LOVE this cast…it should be a great show…kept hoping and waiting to be entertained. Kept waiting to have the storyline make sense and to love the characters. Didn’t happen…I so wanted to set this up on my DVR to record the entire series. Sorry, won’t be watching. I am so disappointed. What a wasted hour.
