What do you think? Do you still like the CSI: NY TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a 10th season?

At first I was not crazy about Mac but like a wart he grew on me. Definately want to see the show back and am so greatful this show aims for an audience that has a brain and is more than T&A thing like CSI Miami. The personal side of Mac does not do it for me, I would rather keep it on the professional level but The writers are very good at what they do as far as plots go. I really do think that introducing romance to the lead characters does not work in most TV shows, as… Read more »

The problem with most TV shows that are on for a few years is that the producers feel we need to get into the lives of the characters TOO MUCH. I tune in to see how they solve crimes. this show has been no different….It needs to either change back or go by the wayside. Not a bad show overall.
I think this season is one of the best so far. I hope we get at least a 200th episode, but want a 10th season more. CSI NY is my favorite of all the shows on tv!
I really like CSI NY i love the crime solving, the mystery part, figuring out who the killer is, but now christine she got to go she is not a good fit at all
If this is the last season, for the sake of its loyal viewers, the writers need to keep the CSI team intact. No new characters, just focus on the CSI family. No more Christine or Lovato. Just Mac and the team.
I really think this season of CSI NY has improved over the last cpl seasons
I truly didn’t care if I saw it or not, but this season, the storylines are WAY improved, Macs memory issues are touching close to home, as I have a head injury & can feel how he is feeling, & this last week with Flacks emotional journey with watching a child pass really has brought the show back from the grave. We are finally getting to know the characters and I hope its not a little to late.
I have been a faithful watcher of this show for many years and I hope it continues for many more. I really like Sela Ward’s character. I think that it does some of the older series good to add new characters every now and then.
It’s been a long run with CSI NY and I’ve watched it for a few years now. It’s been a long time favorite pick in my primetime line up. I never miss an episode.
I hope I hope I hope CSI:NY doesn’t get cancelled. I think the show is as good now as it was when it started. Heck, the characters on the show are almosy like family to me! Besides, if it’s cancelled, I’ll miss seeing the photo of Ronaldus Magnus (Ronald Reagan) in Mac’s office!
Blue Bloods is the best program on t.w. Why isn’t it never mentioned on any of the
awards show and the Emmy’s ?
And the cancelled CSI: MIAMI for this one??/?
Tough luck for you!
CSI Ny should definitely get a 10th season. It held it’s own in the coveted 18-49 rating group even though it was in a new time slot and not aggressively promoted. If CBS had put as much promo strength behind NY as they did for Made in Jersey the numbers would most likely have reflected it.
Agreed…CSI NY doesn’t get half the promotion as most of the shows on T.V., yet still has a great showing.
It should definately been renewed for a tenth and more seasons. There are plenty of fans here in the UK and Europe. Renew, renew.
