These charts incorporate the daily final CW show ratings (reported by Nielsen) and are sorted by the 18-49 demographic. Network advertisers typically prize those viewers most and so will pay more to reach them. There’s lots of information that the networks take into consideration when cancelling or renewing a TV series but the ratings are the biggest factor. The higher the ratings, the better chance that the show will be renewed. And yes, they take it into account when a show airs on Friday nights

Arrow with the most viewers on The CW yet #2 on the demo rating?! That doesn’t make sense to me…its by far my favorite and the best show on the network!
I love Nikita. It so addictive… and I really don’t understand how is it they have such low rating. I mean action, drama, comic relief, hot guys, hot girls, complex relationships, evil masterminds and smart replays.
Cw did a really bad job with the time slot and marketing of the show. I really hope they will do two thing: one pick up the show for four season and two start from the beginning in a better time slot with lot’s more marketing so the show will get the credit she deserve.
Please do not cancel Hart of Dixie. It’s my family favorite show. The ploblem with the network is they move the t.v. show nights to much. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the days I can get my family all together rest of the week for get it.
