Viceland is getting into the late night talk show business. This week, the network announced they’ve ordered a new series called Desus & Mero.
Recently, we reported the network has also renewed their two docuseries Huang’s World and States of Undress for a second season.
Hosted by Desus Nice and The Kid Mero, the new talk show will “be a fresh take on the day’s events, the culture at large and day-to-day life… all through the eyes of two friends born and raised in the Bronx.”
From Viceland:
The network will make its first foray into a daily late night talk show starting in October with the debut of “Desus & Mero.” A show that will feature voices yet to be heard on the late night landscape, “Desus & Mero” come to VICELAND from their popular podcast “The Bodega Boys” and web show “Desus vs. Mero.” The new show promises to be a fresh take on the day’s events, the culture at large and day-to-day life… all through the eyes of two friends born and raised in the Bronx.”
What do you think? Do you watch Viceland? Will you watch Desus & Mero?
I enjoy watching those two. They can calm down the use of a word I despise, though. Really not necessary. Otherwise, keep doing what you are doing and I wish you great success….. again, CHILL with the ‘n’ word……..
ABSOLUTELY Im a 53 year old male and watch it with my 19 year old son and it is a great break for the standard garb that hits the air at 11pm. Please keep them going.
Hysterical. Love this show. Best thing on TV post 11pm. Stay Woke!
Please please cancel this show. Love Viceland. Dislike “Desus & Mero. I’d rather watch paint dry. Unintelligible at best. Needlessly provocative and uninspiring at worst…
Well, Fred…. change the channel….. Simple solution.
KEEP RENEWING DEJUS & MERO!
Please, don’t cancel we watch and like the show
Love em …YES BX
