The Devious Maids are retiring. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lifetime has cancelled the series after four seasons.
The dramedy revolved around a group of Latina maids who work in the homes of wealthy and powerful families in Beverly Hills. The cast included Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes, Rebecca Wisocky, Grant Show, and Susan Lucci.
While ratings for Devious Maids had never been high, season four were the lowest yet, earning an average of .30 in the 18-49 demo and only 923,000 viewers. For comparison, season three received an average of .46 in the 18-49 demo and 1.36 million viewers.

This channel keeps canceling GREAT SHOWS! first longmire now devious maids!! So pissed I could spit! Hopefully Netflix will pick up Devious Maids like they did Longmire. Both shows had great ratings but this channel just wants crappy reality TV shows.

Here’s hoping Netflix or some other channel picks this up. My hubby and I both love the antics in this show.

I’m furious that this show has been cancelled! I look forward to every episode! All of the characters are delughtful! BOO to Lifetime. I guess u can delete their app from my Roku.
Why would you cancel this show? I’m not sure about your cable channel, may have to cancel you as you get rid of everything people enjoy watching.
Wish they would reconsider, love the humor and soap opera plots. Acting is great on this show. Always makes me laugh.

Wow ! Very saddened to read this. This is by far one of my favorite shows on television. The humor is just a mood lifter and the mystery each season always kept me at the she of my seat. It was a great filler for when desperate housewives went off the air. Very sad to hear it’s cancelled. It had to be better in ratings than other shows lifetime airs
