Holmes and Watson are on their way back. CBS has announced the sixth season of its Elementary TV show premieres Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10:00pm ET/PT. The series — an updated take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic detective stories — will fill Scorpion‘s timeslot, after that show’s season four finale.
A CBS mystery drama, Elementary follows detective Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu). A former surgeon who lost her license to practice, Watson began as Sherlock’s sober companion. Also starring are Aidan Quinn as Captain Thomas Gregson and Jon Michael Hill as Detective Marcus Bell. Desmond Harrington joins in season six as Michael, a recovering addict.

CBS today announced spring series premiere dates with modern-day Sherlock Holmes drama ELEMENTARY returning Monday, April 30 (10:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT) and medical drama CODE BLACK premiering Wednesday, May 2(10:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT).
ELEMENTARY will replace SCORPION following its season finale Monday, April 23 (10:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT) and CODE BLACK will replace CRIMINAL MINDS following the conclusion of its season on Wednesday, April 25 (10:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT).

I am so happy to hear that elementary is being renewed. I think it is such an intelligent and well acted series. I hope there will be a season 7 8 9 and 10. I have watched all the reruns over and over and I am Anxiously awaiting new episodes.

Elementary is one of the most intelligent muder mysteries on television today. Having said that, I’m surprised it hasn’t already been put on the chopping block. The show doesn’t follow the idiotic edict of today’s mind numbing politically correct agenda though it has begun to creep into script lately. Blatant liberalism does not override the show like, say, Law and Order SVU. There is still hope with Elementary.

Sorry Sam, but Elementary is great, but you are right about Person Of Interest, it was great too and shouldn’t have been cancelled.
We will,most definitely be watching Elementary. No reason not to. Well acted,good story lines, and great stars. However, when they say ‘replacing’ Scorpion. Do they mean replacing the ‘time slot’, or is Scorpion cancelled? We are hoping Scorpion is not cancelled, as it is a fun show. Yes, some of the plot lines are ‘out of this world’, and ‘unbelievable’, however we enjoy the interaction between the characters, and it is just plain fun. TV is supposed to be fun to watch, not being hit in the face with someone’s idea of ‘reality’…so Scorpion fits our bill.
