Quite honestly, it looks doubtful at this point but, if a show is popular enough, anything is possible. At one time, Everwood was on the CW’s fall schedule (as evidenced by this page from an earlier version of the CW’s webpage).
Though there are rumors running rampant on the Internet that the cast is in negotiations for the series to return as a mid-season replacement, it doesn’t look like this is true. The WB is promoting the two-hour “Foreverwood” episode as the series finale, the Everwood sets have been torn down and a source at the CW has said that there are no negotiations going on for a fifth season of the Treat Williams family drama.
Still, if enough people watch the final episode on June 5, 2006 then the fledgling CW network will have little choice but to stand up and take notice. The new network is beginning its first season in the fall and needs all the help it can get in establishing a strong schedule of television. If Everwood looks like a surefire way to attract droves of viewers and advertisers, I’m guessing they’ll renew the show.
How many people need to watch? Well, over seven million households watched the 7th Heaven finale and that show was quickly resurrected (and probably replaced Everwood on the schedule). Only 2.5 million households usually watch Everwood but, if the “Foreverwood” series finale episode can miraculously match or exceed 7th Heaven’s numbers, I’d say the chances are really strong that the CW would reexamine its fall schedule.
What can you do? If you love the show, call everyone you know and ask them to watch the series finale and stay tuned! 
Everwood is one of my favorite shows. I am sad that it was not renewed! If there is anyway that it could still make a comeback I would watch. I would also like to get all of the seasons on DVD…
Finally one show produced which a whole family could watch. We loved the series. Why can’t you let people with higher standards have something to look forward to. My whole family, there are 15 of us (with extended family) and several of my friends and their families are deeply disappointed in your cancelling the series. Please bring it back. Please at least release the rest of the three seasons, or make them available to the faithful fans. We have season one. C Cranston

November 17, 2006 At my age, the television shows of the past 20 years in general, have had little or nothing to offer my generation. Either they are promoting someones views or in some cases border on ‘utter nonsense’. This is so typical of television today. Trash the shows worthy of the majority of viewers and keep the shows that are politically correct and completely corrupt(you know the one’s: has one gay person, a black, a white, sex, sex, sex, constant cussing, female nudity, oh and did I mention sex). I am 17 and I absolutely love everwood. my mom, dad, little sister, and I, watch this show everyday on fox family at dinner. It is a part of our family now and we can relate to it in soo many ways. Everwood is our favorite because it is a show with meaning, family values, and real life challenges and pronlems that relate to all its viewer. please please renew another season!!!! so many families would feel lost without it!!
I don´t understand what happened. Everybody talks about a final episode but I haven´t seen anything. I’m pretty sure I didn’t miss any episode since the episode where Nina came back from the airport and Andy proposed marriage to her. Bring Everwood back. It is one of the best shows I have ever seen. I have watch everwood since the day it came out on the WB, it was my favorite show besides One Tree Hill. I am very upset and disappointed that the show is no longer on. I don’t feel that the show was ready to end. I feel that the show should have had at least a good 10 years running and you gave up on Everwood to quickly. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
I am a 28 year old and my husband is 45 years old. We love this show and are heart broken that the exec. have decided to cancel the show because a few #’s were low. This is a family show and my children loved it. It provided us topics to discuss as a family. I am so upset that my favorite show has been taken off. It is one thing when a show reaches the end and it is time to let it go like 7th Heaven which was also my favorite. You make a last show and leave with a good feeling. It is another when you just take it off and there is no ending.
