“You aren’t like other girls.” Amazon has announced their new series Fleabag will debut in September. The series debuted last month on BBC Three in the UK.

Based on the play by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the British comedy stars Waller-Bridge as a modern Londoner trying to survive her judgmental family and the challenges of modern love. The cast also includes Sian Clifford, Bill Paterson, Olivia Colman, and Brett Gelman.

During the TCA summer press tour, Waller-Bridge said the “polite” British accents allow the show to get away with filthy material:

There’s something very polite about the British accents, it’s sort of sanitizing. You can be as naughty and filthy as you like and [Americans] still think you’re very charming.”

Fleabag debuts on September 16th.
