As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I can’t believe it. Really let down. I really liked the show. Would of been something to see where the story goes. At least a TV movie end the story for the fans.
This no season two news is horrible, I feel like someone just died I love that show so much I really hope rah it gets picked up on another channel I think they just needed to avertise the show better… Omg plz come back this is very sad news to me and I legit what to cry !!!!!

How could you end a show that’s so great. You talk about poor ratings. Fox should be mad at themselves for promoting the series so poorly smdh can’t believe it!
Please bring it back.. I was looking forward to seeing its second season. If FOX doesn’t want to air it some other channel please air it.

Glad it’s gone. Enough we have to deal with it in real life, we don’t need to glorify it on television on a weekly basis.
