As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

Nooooo!! Noooo! Nooooo! I can’t believe it!! Its a very dumb move for them. The show was bad ass I loved the show, I was one of the ones who didn’t really watch it while it was airing due to the fact I had already started another show. Please bring another season. Please let there be more seasons to come.
But then again guys…they did bring 24 back. Maybe there’s hope.

NOOOOOOO!!!!! I LOVE this show! This is so STUPID! I hate reality tv and was tired of a lot of the sitcom shows. I finally found something I liked. This is soooo SAD! Finally a show with latino actors, not that it put us in the best light, but I liked it. ugh.
i cant believe this such a great show…i hope a cable channel will pick it up and run with the series and make it big like SOA and The Walking Dead…this show had soooooo much potiential to grow and become massive they just didnt promote it enought to make it HUGE!
You brought it out in the summer thats why the ratings were low if you bring back the show for season 2 in the fall the ratings will.increase because people are home to watch it dont cancel the show please

This is some BS. Fox doesn’t deserve to be a channel anymore. Gang Related was promising and was on the verge of stardom. How after on a limited number of ordered episodes and limited promotion is a show supposed to thrive? I watched it faithful and if you FOX had a thought it wasnt gonna make it why not air some sort of damn closure episode. This is RIDICULOUS!!! The show was amazing, screw the ratings. The acting and storyline were progressing so well! Like the above comment, its a different perspective and its one that needs to be renewed. I don’t care if it gets picked up by another channel, but its definitely a better catch compared to other nonsense thats been on air for years and years and just gets redundant!
Shame on you FOX. ….This show had the potential to be a breakout great show for season two. The characters were great and storylines were always captivating.

I thought gang related was a great show couldn’t wait for Thursday night to go here.Now y’all cancelled it after a awesome season ending show! Its a shame at least put it on FX!

Unbelievable! Another great show gets cancelled while crap like Honey Boo Boo and The Mindy Project, to name just a couple, go on and on…. who is watching that idiotic drival? Come on FOX, get smart and renew this one. It’s a totally different perspective on the usual police show and now you decide to zap it?
