While the launch of season two of HBO’s Girls series is still two months away, it sounds like the show’s already been renewed for a third season.

In a recent interview, executive producer Judd Apatow told Hot Button, “We’re about to shoot the third season of Girls and season two starts in January.” The video interview is below. Apatow mentions season three at the 34:30 mark.

An HBO spokesperson wouldn’t confirm the renewal but said, “We’re looking forward to the launch of Season 2 and hope to have good news shortly thereafter.”

Season two of Girls kicks off on January 13th on HBO.
