When Hawaii Five-0 was moved to Friday nights after three seasons on Monday evenings, many expected the cop drama to be cancelled. The TV show’s continued to do pretty well though and now, it’s been renewed for a seventh season by CBS.
A reimagining of the original Hawaii Five-0 TV show, this police procedural series revolves around an elite state police task force that fights crime in the 50th state. The series stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, Masi Oka, Jorge Garcia, and Chi McBride.
The 17 episodes that have aired so far during the sixth season have averaged a 1.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.83 million viewers. That’s down by about 7% year-to-year but the ratings are apparently good enough to keep this CBS Television-produced series on the air.

Today, the network announced 2016-17 season renewals of 10 other shows as well — 2 Broke Girls, The Amazing Race, Blue Bloods, Elementary, Madam Secretary, Mom, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion, and Survivor.

I love this show it should stay on for ever this is one of many good shows But I’d put this one in my top 5 shows I watch every week and i have not missed one show yet !!!

I AM HAPPY FOR THE RENEWAL. HAWAII 50 IS THE ONLY SHOW I STILL WATCH ON TV. I LIKE THE BANDER BETWEEN MAGARETT AND DANNY WILLIAMS. WE NEED MORE OF THAT LIKE THE EARLIER SEASONS. IT IS TASTEFULLY DONE. AND WRITTEN. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. WE COULD GO AT LEAST TEN YEARS. B/C EVERYTHING ELSE ON TV IS JUNK. WAY TO MANY REALITY SHOW. THAT ARE SHOWS. THERE IS NOTHING REAL ABOUT THEM.

I very much enjoy the cast of Hawaii 5-0. I was so into the show, I began watching from midnight to 6, Saturday morning (in addition to watching Friday nights!) I’ve visited Oahu twice, just to be in the “atmosphere”! Thank you for the renewal!
