With just one episode left in its 13 episode run, ABC has pulled In Case of Emergency. The network had planned to yank the sitcom earlier this month but subsequently reworked its schedule which included Emergency finishing its run.
Last night’s In Case of Emergency attracted only 3.8 million in the overnight ratings, down a million viewers from last week’s episode. Lost, which airs after Emergency, continues to gain traction. Next week, in place of Emergency and a rerun of According to Jim, ABC has decided to rerun last night’s Lost as a lead-in to the new episode.
It’s looking very doubtful that ABC will air the season finale of Emergency or renew it for a second year. Stay tuned!
i can only agree with Anonymous. ICE is really energetic and fresh and it just makes fun to watch it even if you dont have a laugh every 30 seconds…
at least they could have shown the 13th episode :(!
ICE is awesome. Its fresh and unpredictable. Its a good laugh. I goddamn hate Lost (makes no sense and has a sh*t plot)
In Case of Emergency – great cast, stupid show. Maybe they should fire the writers and hire a team who can do justice for these great actors! I suspect that there is too much going on for it to be a good 30 min. show. Even as lousy as this show currently is, I would still rather watch it than repeats of Lost. For that matter, who wants to watch repeats of anything? Hello TV Exec’s – no one wants to watch repeats!!!
