What’s This TV Show About?
An AMC martial arts drama, Into the Badlands stars Daniel Wu, Eleanor Matsuura, Stephen Lang, Sherman Augustus, Babu Ceesay, Orla Brady, Aramis Knight, Emily Beecham, Ally Ioannides, Lorraine Toussaint, Ella-Rae Smith, Lewis Tan, Dean-Charles Chapman, and Nick Frost. The post-apocalyptic series unfolds centuries into the future, in a feudal society called the Badlands.
Season three kicks off after Veil’s death. Sunny (Wu) and his son, Henry, are living off the grid, when the baby takes ill. Sunny teams up with Bajie (Frost) to journey back into the Badlands, where The Widow (Beecham) and Baron Chau (Matsuura) are engaged in a protracted war. Meanwhile, an enigmatic nomad named Pilgrim (Ceesay) arrives with claims of ushering in a new era of “peace.” Soon, enemies will ally themselves to defend the Badlands.
Season Three Ratings

Will AMC cancel or renew Into the Badlands for season four? The ratings are way down but the show is still a middle of the road performer for AMC. Love this show and would like to see a season 4
I desperately hope this show sticks around at least to finish the story. I would be extremely disappointed to find out it’s been cancelled. This is such a great original storyline and so entertaining I would hate to see it go.

I feel like Into the Badlands is an amazing show but unfortunately it was sidelined to show The Walking Dead, The Talking Dead and unfortunately The Fear of the Walking Dead. I mean come on did they really have a chance!?! They were televised at 11pm. Be honest, who’s going to stay up at 11pm to watch another show. Of course the ratings went because for the majority of season 3, it premiered super late. It had great viewings because it at least premiered at 10. Give it another season and it will blow out TWD! OH PLEEEEASE LET THEM RENEW THIS SHOW FOR SEASON 4!!!….. 5, 6, 7….!! Our family loves this show! It has everything we love in one show. Dystopian type setting, with the perfect martial arts movie feel, blended with strategic warfare ambiance that I’ve read & loved in so many great books. Interesting characters & storylines. A show that sweeps you up & carries you along with it. Talented fan worthy actors who have exhibited an increasing passion & dedication to portraying their rolls with believability. I hope this gets renewed. I’d hate to see this show get killed because of TV ratings, and I feel bad because I don’t have cable (I don’t watch hardly any TV shows, but the shows I DO watch I see on Netflix, Amazon, and HBO) so I can’t support the current season, but I hope they are looking at the views and the buzz on streaming services like Netflix…most of my friends haven’t heard of this show but after a single episode on Netflix they get hooked. They’re only halfway through Season 3. That was only the midseason finale.
RENEW! RENEW!! RENEW!!! Futuristic end of society series without vampires or zombies. The story is full of twists and turns. The plot is fleshed out and intertwined what an absolutely wonderful story. I have telling everyone about it. Did Sunny actually kill M. K.s mom. Where is Sunny’s sister. What really is Azri? Why dors Balje know so much. I suspect he has is hands in everything. I further expect he is the inside guy trying to prevent the rise of Azri. To well involved with who he knows.
