What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lethal Weapon stars Damon Wayans, Clayne Crawford, Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Jordana Brewster, Johnathan Fernandez, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney, and Michelle Mitchenor. The comedic buddy cop action drama centers on two very different cops working together on the streets of Los Angeles. While family man Roger Murtaugh (Wayans) has everything to live for, is there nothing Martin Riggs (Crawford) won’t sacrifice to avenge the loss of his own family? In season two, Murtaugh tries to support Riggs, while still keeping his own family in mind and trying to avoid the chaos his partner seems to seek.
Season One Ratings
The second season of Lethal Weapon averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 viewer demographic and 4.11 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 37% in the demo and down by 37% in viewers. Learn how Lethal Weapon stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will FOX cancel or renew Lethal Weapon for season three? The ratings are way down when compared to the first season’s numbers, likely because the series was moved to a new night and away from the network’s top-rated Empire series. For now, I think it will land a renewal, mostly because FOX has lots of other lower-rated shows. However, there have reportedly been some issues with Crawford so that could scuttle the renewal. I am a huge fan – especially Crawford is acting great! The whole show, including all the staff is doing a great job! Replacing the two main characters will change the show completely — please don‘t do it!
Both of them are adults and whatever quarrel they have they are well payed actors and one should think that they manage to go along further.
It is the end of season 2 and they all are exhausted…..

It is the best show ever!
If Lethal Weapon is cancelled it’s the last Fox shore I will watch. I get involved with a Fox show n fox cancels it. Every time. LW is one of the best I’ve seen a while n of course Fox is ‘thinking’ about cancelling it. The dynamics of Riggs n Murtaugh is absolutely perfect. Don’t screw it up Fox.
Lethal Weapon is THE BEST tv show ever, Totally in love with it. Please don’t cancel it. We love everything about it, especially Clayne Crawford, he is THE ONLY reason we watch the show! We would love to see the show go on for 6 to 7 more seasons, Please.
I hope it is renewed for season 3 and that the main character gets the help he needs during the break between seasons and into the new season. Give the guy a chance to try to chance his behaviour with counselling. The current dynamics between Roger Murtaugh and Martin Riggs is a good one; great chemistry. My hubby and I consider Lethal Weapon to be one of the top five series now airing on tv. We support Clayne Crawford and he is the reason we watch this series. All the current cast members to be very suited for the roles they are playing, and we expect to see at least 6 seasons of this show. Please, Please DO NOT CANCEL THIS SERIES.
I plan my Tuesday’s around Lethal Weapon. I LOVE THIS SHOW!! I never miss watching it. I love Clayne Crawford and Daman TOGETHER! If this show is cancelled, I will cry A MILLION TEARS!! I will not watch it without Clayne Crawford in it or Damon. No Way, Hosea!! This is the best show EVER! Clayne is the Perfect Actor for this role! No One–NO ONE–can take his place. If so, I will not watch it EVER AGAIN!
I can’t imagine Lethel Weapon without Clayne Crawford. If he goes the two of us go. Damon and Clayne are fantastic together they have a great chemistry. The show is one of my top favorites. We love the other cast members too.
Lethal Weapon is one of our favorite shows. The chemistry between Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford is what makes the show. Get rid of either one and you have lost two more viewers.
