Actor and financier, Wayne Rogers, died December 31, 2015. In honor of his life, M*A*S*H co-star Alan Alda, has written a moving tribute to his friend, for The Hollywood Reporter (THR).
From THR:
Wayne was warm and funny and very, very smart. But, as smart as he was, he never told you what to think. If he disagreed, he just asked you a question that innocently invited you to think about what you thought. Now, what I’m thinking about is him.
I missed Wayne when he left the show, but for decades I could see him whenever we were in the same city. But I miss him now in a new, unhappy way.
We’ll never again be in the same city.

I pretty much liked his character. I was sad to see mash change so much. But it has so long new character really couldn’t fill the spot. But they did what they could do make it stay alive. I am not putting them down It just wasn’t the same without the original cast. But they did add a new atmosphere to the show.
