Jen Richards is headed to Tennessee. Deadline reports the transgender actress has been cast in season five of Nashville on CMT.

Richards has previously appeared on Her Story and as herself on I Am Cait.

On Nashville, she’ll play “Allyson Del Lago, a tough but understanding physical therapist who helps a series regular through one of their most difficult challenges.” This will be the first time a transgender character and actor have appeared on CMT.

Season five of Nashville premieres on January 5th.
