Poor Richard’s Almanack will not be headed to USA Network. Variety reported that the network had passed on the pilot that it ordered back in July.
The pilot comes from Jim Danger Gray in partnership with Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions. The series will tell the story of “a group of heroes who emerge as the United States’ ‘new founding fathers’ as the country teeters on the verge of collapse.”
There are plans to shop the series to other networks, so it is possible that this series could still see release. This was the second pilot USA passed on recently. However, Brooklyn Animal Control is being given a chance to redevelop itself by the network.
