Powerless landed on television last week, and the co-showrunner spoke about the new series and being DC’s first comedy. A lot of work went into the new series, according to Patrick Schumacker.
The NBC comedy will introduce fans to the people behind the scenes of the world’s superheroes. A lot of work went into the first 12 episodes of this series, but future plans for the characters have not been made yet.
He said the following in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter:
“It’s hard to say. I don’t have concrete answers for you. I think TV is a living thing and it’s taken all of our energy, given the history of this first season, it’s taken all of our energy just to figure out the first 12 [episodes], so I think we don’t have those answers.”
Powerless airs on Thursday nights on NBC. Did you check out the premiere? Are you a fan of this new comedy? Tell us what you think.
I thought powerless was a pretty good show funny, introducing new heros and a fresh non-hero perspective this needs 2 stay on the air.
