What’s This TV Show About?
An ABC crime drama, Reef Break stars Poppy Montgomery, Ray Stevenson, Desmond Chiam, Melissa Bonne, and Tamala Shelton. The series centers on Cat Chambers (Montgomery), a former thief. These days, she works as the fixer for the governor of a beautiful Pacific Island paradise — “The Reef.” Thanks to her checkered past, Cat has a deep understanding of criminals and the crimes they commit. As a real risk-taker, she runs toward adventure, not from it.

Will ABC cancel or renew Reef Break for season two. The live ratings have been very low but, keep in mind that this is a French-American crime drama produced by ABC Studios and ABC Studios International, in partnership with French broadcaster M6. Other low-rated series have been saved from cancellation in the US, because they’re profitable overseas. That’s no guarantee of a renewal, but sometimes networks do have a higher tolerance for lower ratings, if they’re making some money on a show in other ways (see Ransom and Dynasty for recent examples). I watch Reef Break because there is nothing else on. I’ve honestly tried to like it, but it’s so superficial. Sorry
As far as the ‘game shows” go. The games are great, but the hosts and celebrity (???) guests have little to be desired. Again, sorry.
I loved Deception. What a great sory line with twin magicians. Of course, ABC cancels anything I’ve liked, including The Fix. So intense and very good with a veteran cast, writing and suspense. I got over reality tv 20 years ago. As for the game shows, it’s sooo painful to watch Alec Baldwin attempt to be funny. The Original Match Game was my favorite show when I was a kid!!
Love Reef Break. It’s fun, and the right mix of intrique and romance. Poppy Montgomery is better than ever!
I REALLY enjoy this show. Poppy Montgomery plays her role as Cat spot on. And, Ray Stephenson is one of the most sexiest actors out there. He does a great job, too, as all of the others. Please don’t cancel.

Great show! Love all the cast and they work great together! I only watch a handful of TV shows as most are not worth watching so I was thrilled to see Reef Break added to the ABC lineup! Hopefully there WILL be another season!
